A baker named Noh-myung is worried because his wife, Jung-hee, has been sighing quite often. He is relieved but also jealous when she smiles deeply for Mu-suk, a far-from attractive customer at their bakery one day. As the daily buying-and-selling becomes more frequent between the rather mismatched Jung-hee and Mu-suk, their feelings for each other deepen. Discovering her husband’s indiscretion, Mu-suk’s wife, Hae-sook, bans Mu-suk from visiting the bakery. Meanwhile, Noh-myung approaches Hae-sook who adamantly resists him. As Noh-myung starts putting much love and dedication into his bread to melt Hae-sook's cold heart, customers flock into the bakery and Hae-sook is also moved. Unexpected romance takes Noh-myung, Hae-sook, Mu-suk and Jung-hee in a new direction.
