A promising photographer Min-woo runs into his ex-lover, Tae-hee. Although she is now married, the two begin an affair, and have sex frequently. One day, Min-woo is at the scene of a car accident, and the female victim dies in his arms. After this, Min-woo finds his psyche invaded by the soul of a strange woman.

A promising photographer Min-woo (Kim Yun-Tae) ran into his ex-lover, Jae-hee (Kim Ju-Ryeong). Jae-hee proposes nine-times-only secret affair, although she was married. They begin to seek sexual relationship everyday. One day, Min-woo witnesses runaway car accident and watches victim dying in his hands. A languid afternoon, Min-woo and Jae-hee are making love, and at the climax, Min-woo was hit by the image of a girl getting raped. From then on, Min-woo experiences strange feelings; a girl's soul is wandering in his head

Korean film 'Texture of Skin' directed by Lee Seong-gang competes for awarding a prize in the Perspective competition of the 27th MIFF (Moscow International Film Festival), which raised its curtain on June 17 in Moscow, Russia.

His new movie 'Texture of Skin' is portraying a story in which a promising photographer Min-woo ran into his ex-lover, Jae-hee. Jae-hee proposes secret love affair although she is married. They meet every day.

Once Min-woo witnesses a runaway car accident.watching its victim die in his hands. In the afternoon Min-woo at the climax of love scene with Jae-hee is haunted by the phantom of a girl. From then on she starts pursuing Min-woo for hours on end.

Film maker Lee Seong-gang is famous as an animation director too as his first bold attempt 'My Beautiful Girl, Mari' at a full-length feature has been rewarded with an invitation to compete in the Feature Film category at the 2002 Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France.

This International Film Festival is continued over ten days by June 26 and a total of 350 films are screened including 17 cinemas in its Competition, and 7 movies in its Perspective Competition.

The geographical reach of Perspectives -- to be judged by Czech director Juraj Jakubisko, Russian actress Yelena Safonova and South Korea's Jang Joon-hwan, whose film "Save the Green Planet!" won the Silver St. George prize at MIFF two years ago -- is even wider than that of the main competition program.

From Asia, there's "The Innocent Seven" by the Japanese director Dankan and "Texture of Skin" by the South Korean director Lee Seong-gang.

From outside Europe, there are films from Argentina, Australia and the United States, which is represented by Georgina Garcia Riedel's "How the Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer". Further emphasis on the East comes in another supporting program, "Asian Extremes".
